Feasts and Festivals

Feasts and Festivals published by Patrick Hardy books and later by Lutterworth Press.

A forty eight page illustrated book depicting a series of popular feasts and festivals. This sold strongly and went to reprint bringing the total published copies to twelve thousand but unfortunately, Patrick sadly died and the sequel which was to be a fare fuller edition was never published.

A number of popular themes from the book were adapted to create allied merchandise to include a series of ten wall plates by Wedgwood, bed linen from Vantona, wallpaper from Melody Wall Coverings, tin ware from Metal Box PLC and place mats from Mallod Co Ltd. Most of these products were sold under the coordinate design name of Lazy Summer and all created by Jenny Rhodes.
